Disruptve Studio is a New York–based civic media lab rooted in South Asian diasporic culture, working at the intersection of art, storytelling, and public dialogue. Launched in 2024, the studio emerged from a commitment to explore the arts as a justice-driven practice, situating South Asian experiences within broader Global South histories of media and resistance.

Our work spans three interconnected areas of inquiry: artistic and educational practice, social and political change, and environmental justice. These areas come together through the studio's two branches—The Lab, which produces original socially conscious projects, and The Publics, which curates exhibitions and workshops—transforming media and art into catalysts for collective liberation.
